Savoury Summer Butter with Corn on the Cob
My sister-in-law sets up these butters buffet-style when she has everyone over for a family bbq. They're each delicious. Hope you all enjoy them as much as we do. Love your site!!
Basil Butter:
To 1/2 cup of softened butter, add:
* 1 tsp chopped fresh basil
* 1 tsp chopped fresh chives
* salt and pepper to taste
Dilly Butter:
To 1/2 cup of softened butter, add:
* 2 tsp chopped fresh dill (or 3/4 tsp dried dill)
* salt and pepper to taste
Garlic Butter:
To 1/2 cup of softened butter, add:
* 1, 2, or 3 cloves minced garlic (depends on size)
* 1 tsp chopped fresh parsley
* salt and pepper to taste
Onion Butter
To 1/2 cup of softened butter, add:
* 2 finely chopped spring (green) onions
* 1/4 tsp paprika
* salt and pepper to taste
Tex-Mex Chili Butter:
To 1/2 cup of softened butter, add:
* 1 tsp chili powder
* sprinkle cayenne pepper
* salt and pepper to taste
