Rosemary Lemonade

Rosemary Lemonade

Adding rosemary to homemade lemonade gives it a more sophisticated, grown-up taste. (A little gin never hurts either!)

1 cup organic cane sugar
1 cup water
1 fresh sprig rosemary

Combine the water, sugar, and rosemary in sauce pan and bring to boil to make simple syrup. Cool completely. Discard rosemary.

6 cups cold water
6 organic lemons
6 small sprigs fresh rosemary

Squeeze lemons for juice. Should be approx 1.5 cups. Pour juice into large glass pitcher. Add syrup. Add water.

Serve with ice. Garnish with lemon slices and small sprigs of fresh rosemary. (Can also add gin!)
