No More Canned Tomato Sauce!

This is my aunt's most excellent, quick, and fresh tomato pasta sauce recipe. Especially good for those of us who shudder at the BPA's in tinned tomato products.

Feel free to change this up to suit your taste preferences.

3 cloves garlic, minced
1 onion, peeled and chopped
1 cup fresh basil leaves
6 large ripe tomatoes, cut into quarters
salt and pepper to taste
splash of extra virgin olive oil

1. In food processor or blender, combine onions, garlic, basil, tomatoes, salt and pepper.
2. Blend till smooth.
3. Heat and serve.
4. Just before serving, add splash of olive oil and stir.
5. Voila!
