Mrs. Lambert's Big Wendy Chocolate Cake

Mrs. Lambert's Big Wendy Chocolate Cake

Anyone who attended West Bay Elementary School may well remember this delicious cake.

* 2 eggs
* 1 1/2 cup sugar
* 2/3 cup butter
* 2 squares unsweetened baking chocolate, melted
* 2 1/2 cups sifted flour
* 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
* 1/2 tsp salt
* 1 1/4 cup cold water

1. preheat oven to 350
2. grease and flour a 13x9 pan
3. beat together the eggs, sugar, and butter for 5 minutes, till creamy.
4. add the melted chocolate, and beat well.
5. Then alternatively add the dry ingredients with the wet by hand, not the beater.
6. Bake 30-35 minutes.

This cake is great as is, or with a dusting of icing sugar, or with your favourite frosting.
