How to take Pills

If you have difficulty swallowing pills:

  • Stand up
  • Tilt your head slightly forward. When tilted back your esophagus closes
  • Crush tablets in pill crusher available at your drugstore or use a coffee grinder set aside for this purpose. Mix with yogurt or applesauce.
  • Take half your pills in the morning and half in the evening with meals --10 minutes before to 30 minutes after. This helps absorption and prevents indigestion.
  • Take the full spectrum of vitamins and minerals not just one such as C or E so they can help each other,
  • Start slowly -- half amounts -- and build up to total dosage gradually.
