Homemade Gluten-Free Mustard

The Mustard Field

The Mustard Field

This delicious recipe is from Angie Halten's Gluten Free Club. Check them out at www.glutenfreeclub.com

A great topping for baked ham.

Ingredients:

2/3 cup water, divided in half
1/4 cup dry mustard
1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp honey
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp allspice
3 tbsp tapioca flour

Directions:

Boil 1/3 cup water, dry mustard, vinegar, honey, garlic powder, cinnamon, salt and allspice in a saucepan.

In a separate bowl thoroughly mix 1/3 cup water and tapioca flour. Add this to the mustard mix before it begins to boil. Mix thoroughly!

Keep stirring until the mix gets thicker then remove from heat.

Leave this in the refridgerator until it's time to serve it. It's good for about 5 to 7 days.
