Baked Pork Chops with Potatoes

4-6 pork chops, browned well
4 medium potatoes, sliced
1 onion, chopped
1/2 package onion soup mix
1 can tomato or cream of mushroom soup
1/3 can water
celery salt, pepper, paprika, parsley
1. brown pork chops well both sides
2. place sliced potatoes in oven proof casserole dish
3. combine onion and soup mix. place on top of potatoes
4. combine soup and water, and pour on top.
5. place chops on top, and sprinkle with seasonings
6. cover and bake 300f for 1 1/2 hours.
This dish goes well with apple sauce, mashed turnip, and your choice of vegetables.
